Coinhost sells fixed-configuration dedicated servers from a single data centre in Zurich, Switzerland. The cheapest listed server costs 157.44 CHF per month and comes with an Intel Xeon E-2136 (6 cores) and 32 GB RAM. The range also includes AMD EPYC and AMD Ryzen configurations. Hardware of an existing server is not upgraded; you order a different configuration instead.
Payment: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Dash and NXT, plus card, PayPal and bank transfer.
Included: KVM/IPMI remote access, always-on DDoS protection, an uptime guarantee of 99.9 %, one IPv4 address per server (extra IPs 4.00 CHF per month each). Operating systems: Linux, BSD and Windows (paid licence); cPanel is available as a paid add-on. A private LAN between servers can be requested.
Terms to know: the minimum term is one month, and payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started. The terms allow Coinhost to request verification of identity, residency or intended use at its discretion. The acceptable use policy forbids accessing the services through VPN or proxy connections unless expressly permitted, and prohibits running proxy or VPN services, IRC services and HYIP schemes.
