BearHost Dedicated has not launched yet. BearHost's dedicated-server page shows a "coming soon" notice. Until servers go live, BearHost points visitors to its VPS plans. No server configurations, hardware specs or prices have been published, so there's nothing to compare yet. The footer of that page names data centers in the Netherlands and France.
What BearHost has already published for dedicated servers:
- Payment: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and USDC, plus card and PayPal.
- Uptime guarantee: the terms of service promise 99.95 % uptime for dedicated servers.
- Refunds: a 30-day money-back guarantee, but only on the first purchase of a plan and only once per customer. Setup fees, renewals and add-ons are non-refundable. Services suspended for acceptable use policy (AUP) violations get no refund.
- Management: the setup guide in the knowledge base mentions IPMI/iLO remote access, Linux distributions (Ubuntu/Debian, CentOS/RHEL) and control panels such as cPanel/WHM, Plesk and HestiaCP.
- Sign-up: on its offshore hosting page, BearHost says it needs only a working email address and never asks for ID or real-name verification.
- Complaints: BearHost says it acts only on valid legal process from a court with jurisdiction. Informal takedown demands are archived rather than forwarded. BearHost says it complies with real court orders.
- Support: live chat and email.
The sign-up and complaint statements come from BearHost's offshore hosting page, not from a dedicated-server offer. Check them again once dedicated servers launch. The price of extra IPv4 addresses hasn't been published.

How the score is made up
5.5 of 10 · average
Weighted sum of the criteria, each 0 to 10 from proven values. A criterion without data is not scored and counts with the category median, not as 0.
Provisional: proven values are still missing for some criteria. They count with the category median.
Capped at 5.5: trust is low (young brand, little disclosure or incidents).
